About Melanie Bingham

I am an Attorney in Cherokee County and a proud wife and mother of three.

Graduated from Law School with Honors from the University of Tulsa, College of Law. Bachelors Degree in Political Science / Public Administration From Missouri Southern State University, Associates Degree in Pre-Law from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, and went through the teaching program and graduate classes at Pittsburg State University. Currently in my 13th year as a member of the Baxter Springs Board of Education, 8 years as Vice President, Board of Directors of the Baxter Springs Chamber of Commerce, Deacon of the First Christian Church, Owned and managed Hatbox Photography for 11 years, Member of the Kansas Bar Association, Counsel for the Cherokee County Sheriff's Dept and former Cherokee County Attorney. My greatest accomplishment, however, is as a wife and mother of three daughters.
